Cannabis is becoming more common — and often easier to miss
than we think. A small group of local community experts will cover:
- Cannabis 101
- How cannabis affects youth brain development
- Signs of increased risk, harm reduction and safety
- Tips for having meaningful conversations with kids
Participants will also have the opportunity to walk through a mock bedroom and identify everyday items that may signal increased risk of use. Those who attend will leave informed, prepared and better equipped with knowledge that supports safer adult use, open conversations and youth well-being.
Presenters:
- Chief Dave Borchert, New Ulm Police
- Erin Schwab, Health Educator and Planner, Brown Co. Public Health
- Glenn Hauser, owner of Brick Side Growers, Inc.
